Lessons Learned

1. Taking Care of Calvin:
He discovered this morning that he indeed left his rain jacket on the Autobus last night (or this morning rather) that we took back from Banaue. Coupled with the loss of his point and shoot, we concluded that when Calvin is sleepy, he leaves things behind.

Best to poke him and make sure that he doesn’t forget things in the future.

2. Riding Horses:
The horse responds better to body motions rather than solely clicks.

Also, don’t try and take videos while holding the reins… the horse will just veer off to the side and almost walk itself into a large pile of wood.

3. Bargaining is always better if you have “previous experience.” Calvin claimed to have done the trail a bunch of times before when we were barganing prices on the horses. It brought the price down a couple thousand pesos. Go team!

  1. Hahaha you’re spot on about Calvin getting absent minded when he’s sleepy. The amount of crap he’s left in my room during finals…
