A Day in Singapore

Inside Lau Pa Sat (i.e. hawker-food central). The food you get here is delicious!

Head up to the top of Singapore’s “Big Durian”:

Enjoy a view of Singapore from the Big Duran:

Or fancy a view from the newly opened Marina Bay Sands Park:

The next morning while Annah was recovering from her sickness, I took a solitary hike to the largest monastery in Singapore:

Then it started to rain really really badly…

A meditative session goes on despite the thunderstorm outside

I took the subway back (notice how clean it is!):

And I explored a bit more…

like the Sri Mariamman Temple in Chinatown…

and The Sacred Temple of Buddha’s Tooth Relic (no joke, they say that the enshrined tooth is actually from the real Buddha):

Within the temple

That’s a lot of buddhas

A rooftop garden on top of the sacred tooth temple

My alma mater!

The adventure doesn’t stop.

- At time of posting in Singapore / Paya Lebar, it was 77 °F -
