Moving on from Hyderabad to Hampi

Took a sleeper bus direct from Hyderabad to Hospet (450 rupees for AC sleeper, regular seat), where I then boarded a public bus to Hampi (5 rupees) that morning.

It was very difficult to leave.

I forgot to elaborate how I stayed in a famous art gallery that Saraswati’s family owned…her grandfather was a renowned Indian artist (Reddy) who created many famous works and did portraits for people like Indira Gandhi. For the record, he painted Indira Gandhi’s last portrait before she was assassinated:

And I also stayed at the Indian School of Business. I won’t ever forget my 2 nights here:

…but I have to keep moving. And here I am, alone in Hampi.

Toughest goodbye yet.

- At time of posting in Hampi, India, it was 78.8 °F -

Humidity: 93% | Wind Speed: 11km/hr | Cloud Cover: cloudy; chance of precipitation
